Dadi Maa’s Home Remedies For Ears/Nose/Throat and Eyes Disorders

There are some solutions regarding Ears/Nose/Throat and Eyes Disorders

As soon as the atmospheric changes occur most of the families suffer from throat infections. The eye problems like conjunctivitis too appear at the same time.


Ear:-


Deafness


Use raw onion juice as ear drops.


Put two drops of lukewarm neem oil inside the ear.


Burn one garlic clove in 15 ml mustard oil and drops lukewarm.


Ear Infection


Extract 1 teaspoon juice from mango leaves. Slightly warm and use as ear drops when bearably hot.


Inside Ear Boil


Heat 2 teaspoons mustard oil. Add ½ teaspoon ajwain and one or two flakes of curshed garlic. Boil till they turn red. Filter. Use as ear drops.


Ear Plain due to Boil


Heat 1 teaspoon each of lahsun and ajwain in 2 tablespoons til ka tel till they turn red in colour. Strain and cool. When cooled to body temperature, put some drops into the ears.


Ear Ache


Mix a few drops of lime juice in 1 teaspoon lukewarm water. Put 4 drops of this into the ear.


Heat 2 teaspoons mustard oil. Add ½ teaspoon ajwain and one or two flakes of crushed garlic. Boil till they turn red. Filter. Use as ear drops.


Boil well 1 teaspoon garlic in 2 tablespoons til ka tel. Cool and filter. Use as drops (2 to 3 drops).


Use neem leaves juice as ear drops.


Nose


Cold


In the case of the acute cold in the head, boil 1 tablespoon peper powder in a cup of milk alongwith a pinch of haldi and have once daily for at least 3 days.


A tablespoon of ajwain crushed and tied up in muslin cloth can be used for inhalation to relieve congestion/blocked nose.


A lemon a day keeps the cold away. For a bad cold, the juice of two lemons in ½ litre (2 ½ cups) of boiling water sweetened with honey, taken at bed time is a very effective remedy.


Have adrak and tulsi tea. Cut adrak into 1” -1 ½” pieces and 3-5 leaves of tulsi. Boil with a cup of water. Give 8-10 boils. Strain, sweeten with ½ teaspoon sugar and drink hot.


A teaspoon of jeera is added to 1 glass of boiling water. Strain and simmer for a few minutes. Let it cool. Drink it 1-2 times a day. If sore throat is also present, add a few small pieces of dry adrak to the boiling water. Six sabot kali mirch finely ground and mixed with a glass of warm water, sweetened with 5-6 batashas can be taken for a few nights.


Cold with Phelgm and Slight Cough


Take 8-10 tulsi leaves and wash well. To 1 cup of water, add these tulsi leves, 1-2 cloves of garlic, ½ piece giner crushed and 4-5 saboot kali mirch. Boil the water and keep simmering on flame till the quantity is reduced to ¼ cup. Cool. Strain. Add 1 teaspoon honey. Drink it every morning.


Nasal Congestion


Crush a fishful of ajwain and tie up in a cotton napkin and place it near the pillow to inhale.


Put 1 teaspoon chhoti illaichi seeds on burning coal and inhale the smoke.


Nasal Congestion in Children


Crush a fistful of ajwain and tie up in a cotton napkin and place it near the pillow to inhale.


Nose Bleeding


Dip a cotton but in rose water and dub it on to the inside of nostrils to stop the bleeding


Drop lemon juice in nostrils.


Use juice of fresh dhania leaves as nasal drops.



Nose Bleeding due to Body Heat


Lemon juice dropped into nostrils provides excellent relief.


Juice of fresh dhania leaves can be used as nasal drops.


Nose Blockage due to Cold and Phlegm


Make a very fine powder of equal quantities of the chhoti illaichi seeds, dalchini, kali mirch and jeera. Sniff this powder frequently to induce sneezing.


Nose Blockage with Severe Cold.


Make a very fine powder of equal quantities of the green chhoti illaichi, dalchini, kali mirch and jeera. Sniff this powder frequently to induce sneezing.


Running Nose


Rub a jaiphal on a smooth grinding stone along with some cows milk. Apply this paste on forhead and nose.


Sneezing


Boil 2 tablespoon saunf in 1 cup water till it is reduced to half. Filter. Take 1 tablespoon every morning and evening for a few days.


Throat


Hoarseness


Take 1 teaspoon onion juice mixed with 1 teaspoon of honey.


Pour 1 glass boiling water on a mixture of 1 teaspoon each of crushed dalchini and chhoti illaichi. Keep aside. Filter anduse as gargles when warm.


Hoarse Voice


Soak 8 to 10 almonds overnight in 1 cup water. After discarding the outer skin, grind the kernels with 8 to 10 saboot kali mirch in 1 cup water. Sift it and drink once a day, after adding mishri to tste.


Mix seeds of chhoti illaichi alongwith 1 tablespoon honey. Lick it every day.


Boil 2 teaspoons saunf in barley water and take twice or thrice a day.


Throat Pain


Crush a few need leaves with water. Remove pulp. Warm it up. Add a little honey and gargle.


Mix a teaspoon lime juice and 1 tablespoon honey. Lick tiny amounts slowly 2-3 times a day.


Eyes:-


Cataract


Mix 1 teaspoon gulab jal with 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice. Put 10 drops of it in the eyes.


Burning Eyes


Mix the juice of lauki and til ka tel in the ratio of 4:1, and heat till the moisture is evaporated completely. Once cool, use it for massaging the head.


Mash 1 ripe banana alongwith a little curd and water, take twice a day.


Mix equal quantities of methi dana powder along with shikakai powder for washing hair. Wsh frequently.


Grind on onion with a teaspoon each black pepper and poppy seeds khuskhus soaked in ½ cup of milk. Apply this paste on the head. Allow it to dry for 15-20 minutes. Wsh with warm water.


Dark Circles around Eyes


Drin k tomato juice with a few mint leaves, little lemon juice and salt.


Take one teaspoon tomato juice, ½ teaspoon lemon juice, a pinch of haldi powder and a little besan. Make a paste and apply. Leave for 10 minutes and wash off.


Soak cotton wool in kheera or potato juice and apply around the eyes. You will find a change in 2-3 weeks.


Eye Strain


Boil ½ teaspoon saunf in a cup of water till it is reduced to half. Cool. use as eye drops.
Caution: Beware of contamination.


Tired Eyes


Lavender oil offers gently relief for tired and strained eyes. Add a drop of lavender oil to 500 ml (2 ½ cups) of water and shake the solution well. Dip two cotton wool pads in the liquid, squeeze out the excess water and place one pad over each eye. If you wear contact lenses, they must be removed before hand.


Weak Eyesight


Mix seeds of chhoti illaichi alongwith 1 tablespoon honey. Lick it every day.
